Storage Tank Program Licensing

 

Facility Operators

By November 10, 2009, all facilities that have regulated tank systems*, were required to have licensed operators.  For further information refer to Wyoming Water Quality Rules and Regulations, Chapter 17, Section 46.

The International Code Council (ICC) W-6 Wyoming State Specific Class A Operator Exam has been reinstated, as of April 1, 2010. You can make reservations to take the exam through Pearson Vue. Click here to go to the Pearson Vue Website.

Tank and Line Testers

By November 10, 2009, personnel testing regulated tank systems*, are required to be licensed by the Storage Tank Program. For further information refer to Wyoming Water Quality Rules and Regulations, Chapter 17, Section 48.

Tester License Application

Installers

By November 10, 2009, any time a regulated tank system* is installed or modified, at least one person onsite has to be a licensed Installer by the Storage Tank Program. For further information refer to Wyoming Water Quality Rules and Regulations, Chapter 17, Section 45.

Cathodic Protection Testers and Experts

By November 10, 2009, personnel testing cathodic protection on regulated tank systems*, must be licensed by the Storage Tank Program. For further information refer to Wyoming Water Quality Rules and Regulations, Chapter 17, Section 47.

Cathodic Protection Tester and Expert License Application
