In the 2006 session, the Wyoming Legislature provided $2.6 million to assist local government entities in the preparation of Integrated Solid Waste Plans.  The final plans are due to the department by July 1, 2009 and will need to address a period of 20 years.  This legislation was supported by the Wyoming Solid Waste and Recycling Association (WSWRA) and the Citizen's Advisory Group (CAG).
