Displays and Events
Businesses large and small face a seeming maze of regulatory issues. But many people are surprised to learn of the various ways that DEQ can help. Manufacturers trade shows and similar events present an excellent opportunity to outline basic regulatory obligations, DEQ’s assistance programs, and more.
Each year DEQ attends several events throughout the state, including the annual Wyoming Hunting and Fishing Expo in Casper, the Coal Bed Methane Gas Fair in Gillette among others.
We can provide information that ranges from general overviews of environmental issues, recycling issues and more, to detailed "how-to’s" for permit processes, handling wastes and other activities. Resources include DEQ technical staff, computer slide presentations and printed materials.

Request a Speaker
In addition to the department’s regulatory functions, DEQ has experts in a variety of environmental areas that can speak to groups about DEQ's programs or other environmental topics. Our staff is available to help members of civic, community and private organizations better understand these environmental regulations and issues.
To assist us with finding an appropriate speaker for your event, we require that you submit requests for speakers at least a month in advance.
