Advisory Board
The Land Quality Advisory Board will be meeting to discussed proposed revisions to Chapters 8, 9 and 10 of the Noncoal Rules and Regulations. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. on Monday November 14, 2011 in the Hearing Room at the Oil and Gas Commission Building located at 2211 King Boulevard, Casper, Wyoming. More information regarding the proposed rule language can be seen below under the Noncoal Proposed Rules and Regulations. [Public_Notice] regarding the meeting was published in the Casper Star-Tribune on Sunday, October 16, 2011 and will be published again on Sunday, October 30, 2011. Environmental Quality Council
No EQC Hearings regarding rules are currently scheduled.
COAL
No revised coal rules and regulations are currently being promulgated.
NONCOAL
Noncoal Chapters 8, 9 and 10: Proposed revisions to the LQD's Noncoal Rules and Regulations were drafted to clarify and update procedures and methods related to exploration by drilling and update and clarify the regulations related to small mines and limited mining operations. A complete discussion of the proposed rules is contained in the [Statement of Principle Reasons], [Strike & Underline Chapters] and the [Clean Version of Chapters] of the rules as they would appear if adopted as proposed. The Land Quality Advisory Board will be meeting on November 14, 2011 as discussed above.
