Wyoming Visibility Monitoring Network Website
As an integral part of programs to protect and improve visibility in Wyoming, the Air Quality Division brings you the Wyoming Visibility Monitoring Network Website. The Wyoming Visibility Monitoring Network Website features live images and current air quality conditions from monitoring locations throughout the State of Wyoming. Digital Images from live sites are updated every 15 minutes. In addition, near real-time air quality data provide current meteorological, air quality and visibility information.
The Wyoming Visibility Monitoring Network Website also provides tools to better understand air quality and visibility in Wyoming. Image galleries from state and federal sites show examples of good and poor visibility and unique events. The Air Quality Info page provides more detailed information about various air quality topics. Links guide you to other web cams, air quality sites and agencies around the U.S.

Wyoming's Long Term Strategy for Visibility Protection, 2003 Review Report
The State of Wyoming, Department of Environmental Quality, Division of Air Quality has prepared a 2003 Review Report on Wyoming’s Long Term Strategy for Visibility Protection in Class I Areas. The preparation of the report is required by Wyoming Air Quality Standards and Regulations Chapter 9, Section 2(f) which calls for the Air Quality Division to review and revise, if appropriate, the Long Term Strategy every three years.
A Public Meeting before the Air Quality Advisory Board and Air Quality Division, to receive comments on Wyoming’s Long Term Strategy for Visibility Protection, 2003 Draft Review Report, was held on April 22, 2003 in the Herschler Building, First Floor Conference Room 1299, 122 West 25th Street, Cheyenne, Wyoming. The Board and Air Quality Division invited the public, industry, and Federal Land Managers to provide comment on visibility protection from reasonably attributable visibility impairment in Class I Areas. All written and oral comments relative to Wyoming’s Long Term Strategy for Visibility Protection, 2003 Draft Review Report received during the 30 day public comment period (April 1-30, 2003) were considered in the preparation of the Final Report. Wyoming’s Long Term Strategy for Visibility Protection, 2003 Review Report was submitted to Region VIII of the United States Environmental Protection Agency on May 29, 2003, to satisfy the triennial periodic review requirement of Wyoming Air Quality Standards and Regulations Chapter 9, Section 2 Visibility.

This will make it easier and more manageable for users to download, especially those with slower dial-up connections.
