Actual Emissions

In accordance with 40 CFR Part 51, the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality - Air Quality Division (AQD) collects actual emissions inventories on a periodic basis. Inventory information provided below is for actual emissions only, and is current as of the date listed in the inventory title. Inventories will be posted after all reporting facilities have submitted actual emissions data to the AQD, and that information has been reviewed. These summary inventories may be updated if new information is received. Additionally, only the most recent three years of inventory data will be posted.
Oil and gas production sites are considered minor sources with inventories typically collected every three years. Depending on the location, some minor source oil and gas production site inventories may be collected on an annual basis. Emission summaries for each company will be presented on a production field-wide basis and not a facility total. For example, if a company operates 100 wells in a particular location, then total emissions for all 100 wells will be combined based on source type.
