Ozone Technical Forum December 8 and 9, 2009

The Technical Forum is intended to bring together interested parties to share with them what we know about winter ozone formation and winter ozone modeling and to hear from others in the professional community what they know about these matters.  The technical forum will be a combination of presentations, panel discussions, and break-out groups.  For more details, click here.

New Guidance for Portable Generators in Northeast Wyoming

The Air Quality Division has posted an October 1, 2009 revision to the PERMITTING GUIDANCE FOR GAS AND DIESEL FIRED GENERATORS OPERATING IN COAL BED METHANE (CBM) SERVICE IN THE NORTHEAST PART OF THE STATE.  This revision replaces the existing permitting guidance.

Oil and Gas Production Facilities

The Air Quality Division has posted a June 2009 update of the proposed revisions to the presumptive BACT requirement under the Chapter 6, Section 2 Oil and Gas Production Facilities Permitting Guidance.

The Air Quality Division has issued a July 14, 2009 letter regarding the removal of control equipment and inter-company trading.  Both issues apply to permits issued to sources in Sublette County.
